The N72-N73 Mallow Relief Road scheme has received TII funding to progress Phase 3 Design and Environmental Evaluation in accordance with TII’s Project Management Guidelines and in combination with TII’s Project Appraisal Guidelines, and applicable regulations and guidance. Landowner and Stakeholder engagement along with environmental surveys will resume, and the public will receive updates at significant project milestones.

The Option Selection process for the proposed Scheme has been undertaken in accordance with TII’s Project Management Guidelines, in combination with TII’s Project Appraisal Guidelines, and applicable regulations and guidance. The project is currently at the end of Phase 2 (Options Selection) of the TII Project Management Guidelines and a Preferred Option has been identified. A Public Consultation on the Preferred Option will be carried out between Monday, 17th of October and Friday, 18th of November. A virtual room for the Public Consultation has been created for the project at https://www.innovision.ie/mallow. The Public are encouraged to provide feedback on the Preferred Option.
